Recently, we have had a couple of customers reach out to us and ask for ideas on using our Protein Blends in drinks that are not smoothies. So, after a bit of internet research and trialling in the Pro You kitchen we’ve come up with 3 iced drinks that are definitely not smoothies. I guess you would call them a frappé? Regardless, they are delicious and packed with nutrients. We made ours in a Nutri Bullet Pro that has a 700ml capacity so each recipe provides 2 serves.

Iced Coffee with Pro You Protein Blend

This recipe works great if you work in an office as you can use plunger coffee, terrible on its own – fantastic in this drink.

  • 1 1/2 cups of ice cubes (or approx. 2 handfuls)
  • 1 – 2 30g servings of Pro You pea or whey Protein Blend
  • 1 cup of cold coffee
  • 1 cup (approx.) of almond milk (add last and fill to the top of the blender)
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
  • 1 10g serve of collagen (optional)

Add all ingredients to the blender and blitz.

Iced Matcha with Pro You Protein Blend

We used Ceres Organics Matcha Powder purchased from Huckleberry.
