This week, we’re loving this vitamin-packed Strawberry Vanilla Adaptogen Smoothie. It’s got all the elements you need for the ultimate immunity boost and pick me up on a dreary winter’s day.

  • Strawberries provide a hit of vitamin C (more than that of an orange in fact) and are high in antioxidants, fibre, magnesium, and potassium.
  • Maca, a powerful adaptogen sourced from Peru, if taken regularly may boost energy, vitality, fight fatigue, improve mood and help balance hormones.
  • Pro You Protein Blend provides 20g of protein in a convenient way, and the benefits of all of the b vitamins, magnesium, zinc, Ashwagandha and organic New Zealand flaxseed fibre.

We often get asked what products we use in our smoothies, so here they are.

Strawberries

Who doesn’t love a bit of summer in winter? We use organic strawberries from Oob at Huckleberry. In summer, we are 100% Matakana Berry Co.

Maca Powder

Maca is one of the world’s most unique and powerful medicinal superfoods. As a medicinal, it has been at the centre of Inca culture, history, and spirituality for over 2000 years. We recommend taking the time to read more about Maca on the Naturally Healthy website.

All Good Oat Milk

All Good Oat Milk is much creamier and thicker than your average plant-based milk making it perfect for smoothies. All Good also offers a very convenient and cost-effective subscription option, you can read more about it here.
