Or as we like to call it – The Justin Bieber Smoothie

While I’m not getting my peaches from Georgia, I look forward to getting them locally (Cromwell peaches take the cake!) as summer approaches. In the meantime, feel free to use tinned peaches in juice, not syrup – you’re sweet enough! You won’t need to add any additional sweeteners to this one – the fruit naturally sweetens it as it is.

This recipe is super high in protein making it the ideal meal or snack to keep you fuelled. Protein is essential for muscle growth – perfect for maintaining a strong and toned peach!

This recipe can be: Vegan – GF – DF – High in Protein – High in Fibre
(Use Pro You Pea Protein Blend for Vegan and Dairy-Free options)

Top Tips to Creating a Super Smoothie:

  • Use frozen ingredients – it creates a nice-cream, thick consistency
  • Use a powerful blender – it needs a bit of elbow grease to blend those frozen goods
  • Feel free to give it a nutritional boost by topping with muesli, chia seeds, hemp seeds or toasted coconut.

Health Benefits of Peaches:

  • High in fibre – supporting a healthy, happy gut and useful in calming a sore, bloated stomach
  • Rich in minerals and antioxidants – particularly Vitamin A, Vitamin C and potassium
  • Available all year long – canned peaches have similar nutrients to fresh ones (just choose the brands in juice, not syrup). We love this no-sugar-added version!
  • Sensationally delicious
