We recommend making a double batch at the weekend to have on hand throughout the week. They are great with a mid-morning coffee, before or after the gym, and in lunchboxes.

Peanut Butter Protein Balls

Complete the recipe by rolling the balls in desiccated coconut or cacao powder.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Fix and Fogg smooth peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup Pro You pea or whey Protein Blend
  • 1/3 cup flaxseed meal
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Desiccated coconut or cacao powder for coating

Method

Add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse until well combined. Use a small ice cream scoop, tablespoon, or your hands to remove the mixture from the blender and roll it into balls. Option to coat in desiccated coconut or cacao or a mixture of the two. Place balls into an airtight container lined with baking paper and store in the fridge to set. The balls will keep in the fridge for about a week, and can also be frozen.
